Paris is world capital of fashion (Milan may not agree, bit so what if we’re a bit biased?!). So here’s an important bit of information if you’re coming for the January défilés: the dates have changed.


Not important? Well in the world of fashion, where the eternal round of shows (Paris, Milan New York…) has had the same dates for a very long time, it’s a real upheaval.

Whereas prêt-à-porter used to follow haute couture, it’s now the opposite. Haute couture stays where it is, but the prêt-à-porter is brought forward to proceed it. Still following me?

Basically, for January 2008, this means that the men’s fashion shows start on 17th. Pret-à-porter runs until 20th January, and haute couture follows for four days afterwards.
