Ich&Kar exhibition at the Galerie Anatome in Paris

We love this exhibition space on three floors, dealing with various aspects of graphic design.

It’s also one of Paris’ little hidden treasures. You’ll find it in a part of town that only seems to have clothes wholesalers, behind a large door. Once you get past that, you’ll find yourself in a leafy oasis of giant plants and bamboo. The gallery is just on the right in the courtyard.

The current exhibition show a selection of work by a couple called Ich&Kar (Helena Ichbiah & Piotr Karczewski) who have designed posters, packaging, books and branding for a number of different companies, and have recently branched out into designing objects for design store Domestic.

The exhibition is spread over three levels, with upstairs being a huge, bright loft space that makes an impressive backdrop for the work on show.

The bookshop downstairs has a good selection, including some specialised titles you won’t find anywhere else.

You can check out all our photos of the exhibition here on Flickr.
