Eija-Liisa Ahtila exhibition at the Jeu de Paume in Paris

The first French retrospective entirely dedicated to the Finnish video artist…

Born in 1959, Eija-Liisa Ahtila lives and works in Helsinki. Having produced several notable video works throughout the 1990s (she prefers to call them “human dramas”), deliberately avoiding obvious Nordic themes such as light or melancholy, the exhibition will show films from all stages of her career, as well as a new work that she has created in collaboration with the Jeu de Paume.
