Ten years before Diana, Princess of Wales, Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco (formerly Grace Kelly) had a car accident that caused her death. The world was shocked, stunned that such a talent and beauty could disappear from one day to the next.

Of course she has never been forgotten. As well as the films she left behind, Grace Kelly has also inspired songs and was a favourite subject for photographers.

The new exhibition Les années Grace Kelly – Princesse de Monaco includes photos of the star, but also some of her personal objects such as clothes (including her wedding dress), jewellery and the famous Hermès handbag named after her. We follow her from her birth in Philadelphia to her time in New York and finally to Monaco, with many items loaned especially by the royalty in Monaco.

There will also be extracts from some of her films, many by Hitchcock, as well as home movies she made herself, and a 320-page catalogue with over 300 photos is available for 49 euros. A fitting tribute to this ‘people’s princess’.
