Faithful guests, you will not recognise these two hotels! The Hôtel Design de la Sorbonne has been completely renovated (even the roof!) and the Hôtel Jardin de l’Odéon has had two whole floors completely relooked and revamped.

The complete renovation of the Hôtel Design de la Sorbonne is now finished. We’re not going to tell you again about the new breakfast room or the brighter, larger lobby (the photos can be seen here), or the photo exhibition that is different on each floor. Let’s concentrate on the latest, final touches they have just been made!

First of all, we have – at last – been able to install air conditioning in all room. As soon as the weather hots up, each guests can regulate the coolness of his/her room to their liking. You can peruse the photos of the system being installed (with a giant crane!) here or watch the little film of the proceedings here on Youtube.

Next up, the stairwell has been livened up with printed fabric showing a photo of the view we have over the roofs of Paris onto the Pantheon. Mixed with a light baroque pattern, the effect is quite dramatic…

The 5th and 6th floors are now finished, including a brand new exhibition of vintage photos of an extended (real?) family in the corridors…

The other big piece of news for this hotel is that the new luxury rooms in the eaves on the 6th floor are finally ready! By redesigning the space we’ve been able to make them bigger, with more light, and they have the most amazing views over the roofs of the Sorbonne University on to the Pantheon…

Then there’s an iMac in each room for watching TV or a DVD, listening to CD, surfing the web, checking your e-mail or even… working! As you may realise, the whole of the hotel has been completed reovated from top to bottom; the facade, the roof, a brand new motor for the lift, everything!

As for the Hôtel Jardin de l’Odéon, we continue listening to your remarks and suggestions and have updated the decoration. This time, it’s the 5th and 6th floors that have been redone, with richer fabrics and completely transformed bathrooms…

We’ve created two new room categories: Classic Prestige and Luxury Prestige luxe, with dressing gowns, slippers, a special welcome… And our duplex room now has a bathtub under the stairs!

The corridors have also been renovated to give them a sleek designer touch.
