A change of scene for the horse show this year; now at Villepinte, near the Charles de Gaulle airport, you (and the 2,000 horses) have a lot more room! Here’s the details…
Few public trade fairs stay open for nearly a fortnight in Paris, like the horse show does. It’s one of the most popular of the year, and the new venue should help even more people experience it in more comfortable conditions.
There will be 2 huge halls with 73,000 m² of exhibition space and events – 46,000 m² exhibition space (hall 6) and 27,000 m² for the contests and show (hall 5.b), 2,000 horses, donkeys and poneys to admire and 8 showgrounds (twice as many as in 2008) with 3,500 seats.
Nearly 140,000 visitors are expected, and the official site boasts that the average spend per punter is 215 euros !
The events you will be able to see include:
– The International Acrobatic Masters
– The Arab Horse World Championships
– The Gucci Masters, CSI 5*
ans as usual there will be a huge selection of workshop and activities for kids.
