We visit the Mozilla Foundation in Paris

After two and a half years of renovation of a historic building, the Mozilla Foundation opened its offices on Paris’ Grand Boulevards last June.

It’s here that the visible part of Firefox OS is developed, and Open House weekend was our opportunity to see these extraordinary new/old offices.

Here are our photos…

The building is two minutes from the Musée Grévin (our Madame Tussauds) and the (**groan**) Hard Rock Café, odd neighbours for a non-profit group dedicated to a more open web.

From the street, it looks like a classic building of noble dimensions – quite typical of the area – but once you get upstairs, you can see that the Mozilla Foundation now has an fabulous home in Paris, with carved wood, gold leaf, cherubs and giant mirrors. Makes a change from your standard open plan office!Fondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - ParisFondation Mozilla - Paris
