We closed the Hotel Jardin de l’Odéon a few months back for complete renovation. Everything is changing there – the new hotel will be a four-star establishment, with new art-deco inspired interiors and… a new name.
Ladies and gentlement, we are proud to present the Hôtel Baume, and the staff is already busy preparing for the opening this summer.

You have been following our teaser site which gave a few clues about what was in store – the Baume will be a hotel with a story, the sotry of a group of characters who could all have been connected to the hotel back in the 1930s.
And you’ve probably already seen the sweet little film by Maud Caeiro that shows the hotel’s final days as the Jaridn de l’Odéon, during which we held a sale of all the furniture and then gave away what was left to local charities…
The hotel’s story will be interesting, and the staff are already going through training to be ready for the summer. Many of them had been at the Jardin de l’Odéon for a long time (some of the more than two decades!) and we’ve organised workshops to help smooth the transition from three-star to four-star service.
Building work is still going on the Baume, but the new website shows some computer-generated images of what the rooms should look like.
The new design has tons of great ideas, like the luxury coworking space on the ground floor with a printer you can use and free Wi-Fi (as in all our hotels) and ethernet connections for even more comfortable surfing.
There are also rooms with large winter gardens, a room that can transform into a showroom or meeting room… Lots of surprises await at the Baume!
