Here’s an interesting and different subject for an exhibition – the way that artists approach the use of colour, explained through a presentation of ceramics and other forms of art such as paintings, photos, sculptures…

Exposition L’Expérience de la couleur <br>au Musée national de céramique <br>jusqu'au 2 avril 2018Part of the celebrations for the Pompidou Centre’s 40th anniversary, l’Expérience de la couleur presents works from the National Ceramics Museum, where colour plays a primordial role, together with works from other disciplines of art – paintings, design, glass, photos, fabrics and even gastronomy!

Works on show include artists like Yves Klein, Erwin Blumenfeld, Georgia O’Keeffe, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Daniel Buren, Philippe Starck…

In all, 400 pieces are on display, with the Pompidou Centre, the MAD (Musée des Arts Décoratifs), and the Mobilier National (amongst others) lending pieces.
