Our friends at the la Galerie Esther Woerdehoff (just a few minutes from the Hotel and Spa la Belle Juliette) present the latest photos by Maia Flore in their new exhibition.

You might remember that Maia was part of our photo project A Hotel Photo, an Artist’s View in 2013 before being awarded the HSBC prize in 2015 and holding an exhibition at la Belle Juliette in 2016.

We can’t wait to see all her latest work. You can even meet her at the opening party that we’re happy to invite you to!

Here are all the details.

Presented as part of the (great) Circulation(s) Festival, the Maia Flore exhibition Au lieu de ce monde concentrates on the body and how it reacts with the environment in which it finds itself.

Above all, the photographer tries to express the feelings that she has experienced herself: a fall, a gust of wind, the cold of a piece of ice and the relief of escaping, if only for a fe instants, the rules of space and time.

Feel free to attend the opening part at the gallery on Wednesday 14th March 2018 from 6-9pm. There will be nibbles, probably a bit of wine, and Maia herself will be present if you need any further explanations.
