The Artistic Journey of the “How to Train Your Dragon” exhibition at the Art Ludique Museum extra-muros, 21st January – 24th February 2019
The Art Ludique Museum, specialised in cartoon and comic book artwork, has left its former space, and while looking for a new one is presenting an exhibition not far from our hotels – The Artistic Journey of the “How to Train Your Dragon” Saga.
With original hand-made and digital drawings form the films, the (free!) exhibition is just in time for the release of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (what a coincidence!), and is only open for three weeks…
Fans of the How to Train Your Dragon films (now a trilogy, as the third one is being released the first week of February) will be very happy about the free exhibition showing the drawings that inspired the look of the films.
It looks back over twelve years of creations for the films, with over 200 pieces of artwork and video commentary from the entire artistic team, recorde specially for the exhibition.
And it’s with great pleasure that the exhibition explains the importance of French contributors to the films at Dreamworks – the artistic director, main dragon designer and animation supervisor are all Frenchies!
Don’t forget that entrance is free, and the exhibition only latss for three weeks, so make sure you get the family down there quick smart!
