Located in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, the Hotel Les Dames du Panthéon is a veritable ode to femininity, where the stories of the famous ‘Dames’ charm the guests.
The boudoir-style bar and certain rooms have an exceptional view of the Pantheon, transporting guests into the world of the most iconic women of the past few centuries.
A journey back to the 1940s
The actrice and singer, Juliette Gréco, a free-spirited, committed woman of strong character, made her mark in the 40s.
This talented woman who worked her way up from nothing soon became the icon of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
With her black suits and rebellious attitude, Juliette started a trend, a charismatic style as atypical as her life story.
On the fourth floor we voyage into the world of 1940s jazz clubs, much like those that Juliette used to visit during her passionate love story with Miles Davis.
Interior designer Valérie Manoïl decided to pay homage to Gréco and her jazz-infused world, mixing art déco and a cosy atmosphere.
It’s on this floor that you’ll find vintage, graphic stretched fabrics that mix dark and light colours with saffron tones. The grain-embossed faux leather materials bring to mind the club sofas of the era.
Following in Juliette’s footsteps
The Juliette Gréco-inspired ensemble takes us back to her era: a black, loose-fitting suit that became the height of fashion in the 1940s thanks to the muse of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
