You probably think of Paris is a built-up city, but it’s actually one the greenest European capitals, and the Fête de la Nature is here to prove it.
For a few days there are special events, workshops, visits and more on offer to give you a different look at the city.

— there’s a lot on offer a the Jardin des Plantes, with guided visits, films, shows, a nature village… In all, there are dozens of activities! More info here.
— a virtual biodiversity trail has been concocted by the National Institute of Young Parisian Deaf People from 9am-4pm only for those invited, but for the rest of us, an online interactive presentation can be found here.
— there’s an exhibition about plants that can be used for dyeing near Pernety métro station (Saturday only, from 2-6pm) with an pictures made with plant-based dyes, a seed market and a visit of the allotment. More info here.
— The Jardin du Lapin Ouvrier opens its doors to you on 25th May from 2-6pm with a photo exhibition “The insects of the garden”, a workshop for kids and a tasting session for food made from the garden’s crops (plus soem recipe ideas from the gardeners!) More info here.
— The Jardin aux P’tits Oignons will be in effervescence all weekend (or at least from 3-5.30pm), with visits of the garden and a quiz to see if you know your trees. You can also vote for the most beautiful part of the garden!
