Antoine handles bookings at the Hotel Baume. He explains how he came to work there…
I first worked as a receptionist / concierge for a year, and after taking part in the David Campbell Trophy, in which I came third, I was promoted to bookings agent, which is my current post.
After living abroad for twelve years (London, Hong Kong…) and travelling to over a dozen countries, I’ve developed a love of foreign cultures, and this has confirmed my desire to work in an environment where I’m in contact with the guests.
When I returned to France, I started my path in the hotel trade by studying a Brevet d’études professionnelles in cooking at the Lycée hôtelier de la Rochelle and ended with a terminer avec un baccalauréat professionnel in cooking at the EPMT (École de Paris des métiers de table).
After this, I decided to do some additional studies regarding working at a hotel reception desk, with work experience at the Fraser Suites Harmonie Paris La Défense hotel.
My first professional experiences were at Club Med and the Cinq Codet hotel.
Since starting at the Hôtel Baume, I’ve had a very enriching experience, both professionally and personally!
