Hotel Baume adopts the Raypath method of eco-friendly cleaning

Since the end of January, in order to respect the environment, protect its staff and ensure guests’ comfort, the Hotel Baume has adopted a new method of cleaning that cleverly does not use any dangerous products, just water. This method has been developed by Raypath International.

Here’s what it’s all about…

You might think that you need certain strong, corrosive products in order to ensure perfect cleanliness in places such as offices, schools and hotels, but that’s no longer true.

Using the right materials, such as special microfibre cloths filled with memory foam, and following some specialised training, it’s possible to get everything perfectly clean without poisoning the environment or damaging one’s hands. The Raypath method also reduces the amout of waste, and consequently the hotel’s ecological impact.

And it really works! In the video below, the Belgian chambermaids seem genuinely surprised and delighted with the results…

By using the right amount of water for the microfibre cloth, depending on the surface to be cleaned, the results are astonishing and the time spent cleaning is reduced. A win-win situation, especially for the environment.

Hotel Baume refuses to compromise on cleanliness, and is conscious of its ecological impact. More green initiatives are in the work – we’ll keep you posted!
