The Paris museums may be closed right now, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing cultural going on in the city.
The city’s small galleries are authorised to open, and the Galerie Italienne has organised an interesting new exhibition with the biggest selection of Andy Warhol’s polaroids ever seen in a private French gallery.
Andy Warhol took Polaroid photos throughout his carrer, not only in preparation for other shoots, but also to immortalise celebrities and create series with a speed not possible for standard photography back in the day.
In the exhibition you’ll see an exceptional selection of Warhol’s photos with a number of themes:
— polaroids and photobooths
— photo collages
— stitched photographs (black and white shots literally sewn together with thread)
— naked photos from the Sex Parts & Torsos series…
Don’t miss this opportunity to see a large number of Warhol’s photos in a variety of styles!
