With mass vaccination continuing and the number of new cases lower every day, Paris (and France) is entering the penultimate stage of relaxing its Covid restrictions, starting 9th June 2021.
After a long period of restrictions, the 9th of June is a big step for France. It’s also a happy day for us, as the Clos Belle Juliette – our 4-star bar-restaurant and secret garden – can now accept more customers and stay open until 11pm!
And Paris in general is nearly back to its old self:
— The curfew is now 11pm
— The required 8m² of space per person in shops and museums is now lowered to 4m² per person (you’ll still need a mask), making shopping and culture much simpler
— The annual national Music Festival (21st June 2021) is not cancelled, but a there are a few additional rules compared to other years
— Restaurants and cafés can now accept customer indoors (50% of the normal maximum) and their terraces can now be 100% filled 😁
— Theatres, cinemas and zoos(!) can now accept up to 65% of the usual amount of people
— Trade fairs are now allowed (up to 50% full, maximum 5,000 people)
— Guided visits are now authorised
And in three weeks’ time, starting 30th June, it’ll be a real Paris party, with no more curfew and no more restrictions on how many people can visit places or do things.
Seems like this is the light at the end of the tunnel! And it’s the perfect time to plan a trip to Paris – imagine how happy everyone will be in the city this summer, and how quick you’ll gain entry to Versailles! It’s a chance you shouldn’t miss…
