We all have a role to play in respecting the environment, and the HPRG collection knows that in the current context of global warming, preserving the planet is essential.

The social and environmental values of the collection are the subject of a new document detailing our CSR (corporate social responsibility).

These are our values and commitments, established and applied for the benefit of all.

The Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche collection, a family-owned business, is proud to represent the city of light and French-style art de vivre. We do our best to work with local partners and present our hotels in the best light, through art, interior design and style.

In the seven hotels of the collection, we encourage and choose methods whose environmental impact is limited, with eco-friendly lightbulbs in all our hotels, and movement sensor to limit when they are illuminated, without impacting the security of our guests.

All our hotels use recycling bins, and we collect dead batteries in order for them to be recycled also. All our rooms have spray tap heads to limit water consumption, and our toilets have both light and full flush buttons.

The four Ps of reasonable consumption in our hotels

Plastic – We reduce our use of plastic as much as possible

Products – For daily cleaning our team members use eco-friendly products, and our sub-contractors are environmentally-aware

Paper – We limit our use of paper for daily tasks

Proactive measures – Our teams are briefed about the environmental impact of our activity

Our hotels also favour food suppliers that are actively involved in sustainable development, the products used in our breakfasts are carefully selected with a preference for farm-to-fork and seasonal produce, and we have ecological bamboo hygiene kits in a selection of our hotels (100% ecological and vegan at the Hotel Saint-André des Arts).

We also encourage our guests to share these values:

— they are invited to reuse their towels, as indicated on signs in each room

— some of the hotels offer to change the bedlinen upon request rather than daily, and separate bins for recycling are provided in the rooms…

And many other actions have been applied to help the environment as well as the wellbeing of our guests and team members.
