Even if the Pantheon monument itself hasn’t changed over the years, the area around our hotels<\/a> definitely has – shops have become caf\u00e9s, caf\u00e9s have become fast food joints…<\/p>\n

John d’Orbigny<\/a>‘s Facebook page has just published an astonishing gallery of images of the Pantheon and rue Soufflot (which leads off directly from it) showing the evolution of the street, from the day it was created (knocking a few buildings down in the process) to the present day.<\/p>\n

As the Pantheon is directly opposite the H\u00f4tel les Dames du Panth\u00e9on<\/a> and H\u00f4tel des Grands Hommes<\/a>, we found the photos extremely interesting!<\/p>\n
