In Paris, there’s nothing noisier, nothing bigger, and even the costumes are wilder than the Gay Pride…

Yep, the Techno Parade is back and celebrating its 15th anniversary (doesn’t time fly?) with the usual parade (starting place de la République), DJs (obviously), clubnights, an “electronic week”…

Here’s all the info…Theyre expecting more than 350,000 personnes for the 2013 Techno Parade in Paris, so expect to encounter a little noise that day!

It’s the first big march to leave from the freshly-renovated place de la République (and much handier than last year’s starting point at place de la Nation, far out to the east). The route isn’t yet finalised, but the end point is place de l’Italie (in the 13th arrondissement), and the march runs from midday to 7pm.

And this year’s honorary guest country is, er, Québec. Could be interesting…

Even if the details of the official club night have yet to be revealed, there’s plenty of other great music happening around town – Todd Terje will be mixing at the Social Club, Theo Parrish will be with DJ Deep at the Rex Club, a techno trucky from the parade will be parked at the Glazart beach with nosh from the After Eleven food truck, and Paris’ best house night – mOna – starts it new season that night with resident NickV and six guests!The fifteenth Techno Parade is also the moment to launch the first ever Paris Electronic Week which runs from Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd September 2013. Highlights include an audiovisual show from designers H5 at the Pompidou  Centre, a celebration for the 20th anniversary of Berlin club Tresor at the Palais de Tokyo, a record market at the Comptoir Général…
