The jury of savoury specialists has made its choice!

The winner of the 2014 prize for best Parisian baguette is just 24 years old, and just happens to be the son of a former winner 🙂 Read on to find out where to get your award-winning bread…

For years now – and we don’t really know why – the winners of the best baguette prize have all comme from the 18th arrondissement right in the north of the city (every winner from 2008-2012) and the 14th arrondissement right in the south (last year’s winner, and this year’s). Very odd…

Anyway, this year’s winner is Antonio Teixeira, baker at Aux Délices du Palais which can be found at 60 boulevard Brune (here). As official supplier to the Elysée Palace, his baguette will be going in the mouth of our president for the next year.
