Divided into five chronological parts, with 150 photos on show, the exhibition Paris Magnum show conflict, daily life, important events, fashion, nightlife and life at night… everything that has touched Paris form the 1930s to the presetn day.

You will no doubt recognise a lot of images, as they have since become famous, but many more are to be discovered.

The agency is also a little special because of the way it is organised – as an independent cooperative of shareholder-photographers, with each photographer retaining full rights to his/her work. Other similar agencies have fallen by the wayside, but Magnum continues its important work.
