You don’t need us to tell you that GAFA (Google, Amazon, Facebook et Apple) have seriously changed your life in the last decade. The new exhibition at the Fondation Electra EDF very close to our hotels explores how artists have adapted to this shift in modern society and the ‘digital revolution’.

For some of us, it’s difficult to remember a world before smartphones, internet and Netflix. In a very short time our lives have become completely different, and the lives of artists are no different – the new tools on offer have changed the way creative people think forever.

The Good (digital) Life! takes a look at how artists from the latest generation have adapted to this change. How much are they influenced by it? Are they nostalgic for a simpler world they never even knew?

And how does Rembrandt fit into all this? ?
With works on display by around thirty artists, the exhibition questions visitors in a humorous way and hints at how art will continue to be transformed over the years to come.

The exhibition La Belle vie numérique ! is at the Espace Fondation EDF (here) from 17th November 2017 – 18th March 2018
