From 10th Decembre 2018 until the end of February 2019, five hotels from the HPRG collection are hosting a photo exhibition called Frontières, the result of a collaboration between the Caméléon association and photographer Pedro Lombardi.

Each photo will be available to buy, with profits going to the Caméléon association.

Caméléon is a humanitarian association which protects and reintegrates young girls who are victims of sexual violence in the Philippines. Thanks to this association, the young girls are able to rebuild themselves, learn to love and be loved again, and find a taste for life once more.

It is precisely this personal reconstruction, this life journey centred on the theme of frontiers, that is highlighted in the exhibition.

At a turning point in their lives, these children carry a message of hope: it is possible to overcome, better oneself and be happy.

After hearing abotu the work of the Caméléon association, photographer Pedro Lombardi decided to use his talent to help these abused children.

He shares the daily life of these young girls in the Philippines, capturing their sadness and emotion, but also their strength, joie de vivre and solidarity.

The young girls are at the centre of the exhibition, both subjects and objects, and the emphasis is on authenticity – nothing is posed, contact with the girls is direct, without any intermediary.

The HPRG collection supports the actions of the Caméléon association.

Organising and exhibition is one means of highlighting the association’s work, as well as that of Pedro Lombardi, and to show the public the projects worked on in the Philippines.

Starting 10th Decembre 2018 until the end of February 2019, twenty photos from the Frontières exhibitions will be shown in five of the hotels belonging to the Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche group.

Used to hosting photo exhibitions, the Hotel and Spa la Belle Juliette (75006 Paris) will be showing twelve photos, with the huit others shared out between the Hotel Baume (75006 Paris), Hotel les Dames du Panthéon, Hotel Design Sorbonne and Hotel des Grands Hommes (75005 Paris) for a colourful trail that will welcome visitors and bring together the teams of the hotels in a common humanitarian project.

Each photo exists in a limited edition of eleven copies, and will be sold – numbered and signed – with a note stating that all proceed go to the Caméléon association.
