Perfume creator Guerlain has just started offering discovery workshops for adult and children who would like to try their hand at being a trainee perfume maker.

Adults can do a one-day session (180 euros) during which they will learn about the company’s history, the most important manufactured scent molecules, how Guerlain chooses which smells to mix together, and generally how a perfume is created.

The 2½ hour children’s session (35 euros) helps kids to make their own perfume, finishing off with a special diploma and “smelly snacks”!
