A crazy golf course right in the centre of Paris? No, you are not dreaming!…

If we told you that in the heart of the chicest city in the world you could visit a limited-edition garden and play crazy golf, you’d probably think that I’d been smoking the bamboo. But you’d be wrong!

At the moment, as part of the Paris Plage event (that we told you about here), there is special garden laid out in front of the Hôtel de Ville (until 17th August)…

The 2875 m² of greenery and its mini-lake are the perfect place to learn about biodiversity and have a quick rest from the whirl of the Parisian summer. But what if it’s FUN you’re after? Well, the Paris council have had the brilliant (and frankly strange) idea of installing a crazy golf course right in the middle of the park!

It’s completely free (just give them your ID card or passport to be lent clubs and balls) and takes about twenty minutes. And once you’ve finished, the free water bar offers you a glass of pure Parisian water (not from the Seine mind…) to prove that perhaps bottled water isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Away from the crowds, but in the heart of the city, try out this crazy idea for free until 21st August, open every day from 2-9pm!
