Esther Schipper chez Air de Paris avec Angela Bulloch, “Riley Optimism”

The idea is to increase artistic exchange between the two capitals and work together. The project should allow the two cities to intensify their relationship and co-operation by giving extra exposure to the work of their respective galleries.

The project is also a sort of echo to the famous “Paris-Berlin” exhibition organised at the Pompidou Centre in 1978, which presented the comparative state of artistic creation in France and Allemagne for the first third of the 20th Century. The new “Paris-Berlin” project intedns to show the hard work of the galleries and the artistic effervescence of both cities.
