For the second year running, the private showing and prize-giving ceremony will be held at the prestigious Odéon Théâtre de l’Europe, Place de l’Odéon in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, in their Grémier and Serreaut studios on Monday 28th September 2009 at 8.30pm.

The exhibition will run from Monday 28th September to Sunday 18th October 2009 and will present the photos by the 12 photographers eligible for the prize, as well as work by a photographer with “carte blanche”.

The jury of industry professional and personalities from the world of art and photography will get together on 23rd September to decide the winner of the prize.

Each year, Alain Bisotti the artistic director of the event, gives an artist carte blanche for a specially-commissioned work not eligible for the prize and unveiled for the first time the night of the private viewing.

For the 2009 edition, this carte blanche has been given to photo-video artists Combes & Renaud, a talented couple of artists who will be showing “Interstices” a nex piece mixing photography and video
