It’s one of the simple pleasures of childhood (and especially agreeable for parents when it’s free) – a quick spin on an old-style merry-go-round.

And the Paris council has thought of everything; the merry-go-rounds all turn anti-clockwise so that kids can hold on with their left hand and wave with the right hand! (tough luck if you’re a left-handed infant).
