It’s the last step before the 2012 exhibition and prize-giving. Here’s the jury!

Sophie Bernard of Images magazine, Sylvie Hugues of Réponses Photo, Marion Hislen de Bozzi of the Fnac / Fetart, Marine Merindol of Magnum Photos, Irene Attinger from the MEP, Esther Woerdehoff of the Galerie EW, Marion Liard who runs the Paris city council’s official photo blog, Hélène Le Masson of www.germanopratines.fr, Corinne and Pascal Moncelli of the Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche, Marc Pussemier from la Librairie Photographique, Guillaume Morel of Connaissance des Arts, Geoffroy from Label Image, Graziella Antonini (the PHPA 2011 winner) and Alain Bisotti of PHPA.

The happy group got together yesterday to decide the winner of the 2012 PHPA prize and the 3,000€ cheque that accompanies it. And the winner is (drum roll)…

The winner is, the winner is…. to be announced this evening at the invite-only inauguration! The name of the winner, and the winner of the  Virginie Clément – voted for by the staff of the hotels – will be revealed on the blog tomorrow.

In the meantime, here are a few photo of the jury’s deliberations. It took a while, with some vigorous discussion, but the finalist was chosen with almost complete unanimity.
