The staff of the Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche has voted, and Alain Cornu is the lucky winner of the 2012 Virginie Clément Prize, plus the double magnum of Pannier champagne that accompanies it!

But come and see his photo for yourselves! Saturday 8th September marks the public opening of the 2012 PHPA exhibition at the Galerie Esther Woerdehoff, where the photos by all of last year’s talented photographers can be seen as beautiful prints.

And just next to them is the brand new commission we asked Magnum Photos to create. There’s also a photo studio in the cobbled courtyard where you can have your photo taken for free, nibbles and drinks…
