It’s time to go crazy! 400,000 people marching in the street, loud pounding bass, wild looks and clubnights everywhere…

It’s the Techno Parade and you’ll have a hard time avoiding it!

Here’s all the info.

It’s a very particular day in our beautiful city, the day we show our festive side, the wide range of great electronic music music on offer, and showcase our nightlife.

The official route of the parade hasn’t been announced yet, but it will probably be very similar to last year’s, meaning that it will leave from Port-Royal – near our hotels – and finish off at République.

The city will be buzzing all night with special events all over town – the official techno night Dream Nation is happening in nearby Aubervilliers, Teki Latex and pals will be invading Wanderlust, Jennifer Cardini will be at Le Rex with Bézier et Josh Cheon from Dark Entries, and House of Moda will be outrageously fierce (as ever) at la Java.

The sister event to the Techno Parade, the Paris Electronic Week at the Gaité Lyrique, offers four days of conferences and workshops with heaps of great ideas and advice.

All of this is organised by non-profit group Technopol, a huge amount of work for such a small organisation that should be recognised. Enjoy the day, and let’s hope the weather is kind to us, eh?
