After Traces of empire, Thomas Jorion is back with avec Veduta, ne wphotos of more places left abandoned, this time all in Italy.

By the way, the exhibition is free, and not far from our hotels!

More than ten years were needed to photograph the new series by Thomas Jorion. He travelled all over Italy looking fro abandoned palaces, forgtten villas and other crumbling yet grand spaces.

The photos make us wonder how such magnificent places could fall into such chronic disrepair, and marvel at how quickly nature takes back what we have left behind.

Each photo is available in three formats, with fourteen prints in all. Feel free to attend the public opening (Thursday 7th February, 7-9pm) if you’d like to buy one or get more info from the photographer, who will be present.
