The playful, surreal and slightly nostalgic world of Chema Madoz is back on show, thanks to our friends at the Galerie Esther Woerdehoff which just happens to be pretty close to our hotels!

Born in Madrid in 1958, Chema Madoz has been represented by the Galerie Esther Woerdehoff for nearly fifteen years now. After taking shots of people and landscapes in the 1980s, Chemoz now mainly concentrates on objects.

His photos are a way of expressing all the images that come into his mind. His photos are like a waking dream, a meditation on existence and impermanence.

After the large retrospective of his work out of Paris last year, this follow-up exhibitions offers a new look at Chema Madoz’ work, and we’re promised some new photos too!

The artist will be present for the gallery opening (to which you are cordially invited) on Friday 26th April from 6-9pm. This is your chance to admire his photos close up and even ask him more about them ?
