Urbain de Paname, a street art exhibition in a former ice rink(!) until 18th February 2023

This might be the first time we’ve ever recommended an exhibition in as strange a place as this: Urbain de Paname is a show of street art by over 30 artists (Shepard Fairey, Invader, Banksy…) in quite a surprising venue – the now-closed ice rink in the suburb of Saint-Ouen! 😲

This is the first edition of Urbain de Paname (perhaps more will follow?) with over 30 artists and an odd venue – 2,000m² of an ice rink closed in 2019, in the town of Saint-Ouen (one minute from the metro station, and just a 14-minute voyage from Châtelet in the centre of town).

Expect a grandiose presentation to match the vast space!

But the exhibition also has other benefits if you go down at the weekend. For example, workshops for kids are organised every Saturday to introduce them to street art. They’ll be able to create their own piece, learn how to silkscreen with Atelier Fwells, and add their own touch to a large-format work with the aide of Graffiti Paris.

Also, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday when the exhibition closes at 10pm (last entrance at 7.30pm), you’ll be able to jack your body to the sounds of a live DJs. Fresh!
