Naturalia photo exhibition at Quai de la Photo until 19th October 2025

Quai de la Photo on the banks of the Seine not far from our hotels has reopened its terrace for the summer and added a free photo exhibition to it – Naturalia: Chronicles of Contemporary Ruins by photographer Jonk, 33 large-format prints showing how nature always wins by reclaiming what Man takes from iut.

Think The Last of Us, but in real life…

For more than 15 years, Jonathan Jimenez (Jonk) has gone around the world, visiting over 1,500 places in 50 countries, looking for spots that Man has built upon and then left to decay, allowing nature to take over once again.

In his new exhibition at Quai de la Photo, you’ll be able to see 33 prints of incredible places in fifteen countries, in a 400m² space along the quay.

As the photographer himself explains, “Man builds, Man abandons, each time for his own reasons. Nature cares not about these reasons, but one thing is sure: when Man leaves, nature returns and takes back everything“.
