It’s time to grab a bargain (and Parisian bargains are the best kind) during the 2025 Paris Summer Sales!

So, what are the dates of the 2025 summer sales in Paris?

This year, the sales start on Wednesday 25th June and officially end on 22nd July (although there won’t be much left by then). Yep, just four weeks of cut-price wonders!

What about the second price markdown?

This is pretty much a tradition in France. A week to ten days after the beginning of the sales, prices are generally cut again, usually by at least another 10%. This is called la deuxième démarque, and makes the pleasure of finding a bargain even greater!

It’s a tricky game though – wait too long and your article may be out of stock. Time to hedge your bets and cross your fingers!

Where do the sales items come from?

It is illegal for stores to bring in stock especially for the sales. All reduced price items must have been available to buy in the store at a higher price for at least a month prior to the sales.

This isn’t totally true – the govern’men website confirms: “An item on sale benefits from the same guarantees regarding hidden manufacturing defects, conformity defects and after-sales service as any other item.“

So where should I go shopping near the Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche?

We advise you to swing by the super chic department store le Bon Marché of course, but there is also mouch to be seen along boulevard Saint-Germain, rue de Bac, at les Ateliers Gaîté shopping centre and, a little further away, the Beaugrenelle shopping centre.
