You might possibly know his name, but you definitely know his photos. Perhaps these ring a bell?Yep; classic shots by René Burri. Che? His shot too. Reporters Without Borders has published a book of one hundred of Burri’s photos to support freedom of the press, and some enlargements will be on sale exclusively at the Esther Woerdehoff Gallery.Invited by René Burri, the gallery is also showing “Freiheit” (freedom), a series of watercolours by his friend, the German artist Angela Weyersberg, many of which use Burri’s photos as a source.
