Foreign Culture Week 2008 in Paris

Foreign Culture Week 2008 aims to encourage dialogue between cultures and divers artistic expression, as well as celebrating the European Day of Languages. For the occasion, exhibitions are being held in 44 venues around the city…

The programme for the whole event is pretty big (best check out the official site here), but we thought we’d mention that Guillaume Lebrun, one of the very first photographers to take part in our photo project “A hotel photo, an artist’s view” will be showing his photos of Turkey (and those of fifteen students that he has been helping) at the

Centre Culturel Anatolie, 77 rue La Fayette, 75009 Paris, métro Cadet (line 7), bus n°s 26, 32, 42, 43, 48, 85.

The work is the result of a photographic workshop called “Istanbul – Ville Monde” and a contest organised by the Galatasaray University in Istanbul, called “The presence of France and French in Turkey.”

Foreign Culture Week 2008 runs from 22nd – 28th September 2008, and you can download the full programme here.
