The countdown has commenced! It’s finally time for four weeks of summer sales in Paris, and we think you should probably book a room in one of our hotels to make the most of this joyous occasion!

This year, the Paris summer sales start on Wednesday 22nd June at 8am, and continue until the end of business on Tuesday 19th July 2022. These dates also apply for website sales.

As you might imagine, these four weeks of special prices are subject to strict legal requirements. Everything on sale must have been in stock for at least a month, and it’s the only time of year (apart from the winter sales) that stores are allowed to sell at below cost price.

And while the sales used to last six weeks, they are now reduced to four weeks in order to stimulate sales. This means that there is often a second reduction after a week or ten days. It’s up to you to decide when to purchase – buy too soon and you may be paying over the odds, wait too long and the article might be out of stock!

To get the most out of a Paris shopping spree, our hotels are perfectly placed around the area of Saint-Michel / Saint-Germain-des-Prés. You’ll find a mix of well-known chainstores and big brands, but also stylish fashion and high-end prêt-à-porter (Lagerfeld, Saint Laurent, Vuitton…).

The simplest way to start might be to just walk down boulevard Saint-Germain, where you’ll find a great choice at a variety of price points. Handily, you’ll also be close to rue de Buci with lots of interesting restaurants and vast terraces!

And of course don’t forget that Paris most chic department store, le Bon Marché, is close by as well. You find everything you need there, under one roof!
