Paris l’été (literally, Paris in the summer) is a festival held in the city during July each year, with circus acts, modern dance, concerts and, er, ‘experiences’!

However, the festival is also known for investing unusual venues – swimming pools, monuments, museums, parks… Worth checking out the programme!

The Paris l’été festival never ceases to surprise us each year, with an edgy selection of art in rather unusual places. This year, near our hotels you might like to check out:

— Cardboard Cabaret at The Irish Cultural Centre

— four different shows at the Monfort Theatre…

— modern dance – The Dancing Public – at the Grand Palais Éphémère…

— more modern dance – G.U.I.D. – on the banks of the Seine and at the Tour Montparnasse…

The price of tickets changes for each show and place, so make sure you check it when booking online. There’s also a pass you can buy if you intend to see four shows or more, lowering the price of each to between 10€ and 22€.

Also, some shows are completely free and don’t require booking. Culture for zero euros!
