Called ‘les heures heureuses‘ (as in ‘happy hours’), this event is in its second year and could actually be quite interesting if you like tasting something different and exploring an area of Paris.

Just one thing though – you’ll need to pick up your obligatory ‘Heures Heureuses’ passport from one of the town halls first…

Here’s all the info.

Actually, it’s not that difficutl: pick up your (free) ‘passport’ in the nearest town hall (we have twenty-one of them, so that shouldn’t be too difficult), then choose one of the 12 circuits and sample some delicious nibbles at just 2 euros a pop!

On the Left Bank, near our hotels, there are only two curcits on offer (in the 13th or 15th arrondissements), but the dishes sound lovely nonetheless. For example:

– mini salmon cheesecake,
– Ariège duck terrine served with a glass of wine,
– cream of European spider crab, buckwheat and pea blinis,
– ball of foie gras with speculoos biscuit, and toasted foie gras will Espelette pepper jelly…

Our mouths are watering already!
