The impressionists in private, an exhibition
at the Musée Marmottan until 6th July 2014

Not quite what you might think, this exhibition celebrating the 80th year of the Musée Marmottan presents nearly a hundred works (including eighty paintings) from private collections, most of which have never been see.

Here’s all the info.
MarmottanOver the years, the Musée Marmottan has built up special relationships not only with other museums but also private collectors of impressionist art. Only they could have brought this unique collection of works together.

Presented chronologically, the list of artists reads like a who’s who of impressionism: Manet, Monet, Pissarro, Cézanne, Sisley, Degas, Renoir…

This is oyur only chance to see all these pieces together, perhaps your only chance to see them full stop! Don’t miss it…
