The Château of Versailles awaits you
Our hotels are all open, and as soon as travelling becomes easier, Paris should be at the top of your list, for several reasons..
One of these is the fact that certain monuments that used to have long lines and crowds will be a lot easier to enter and enjoy, like the Château de Versailles, which is currently using its social networks to seduce us with beautiful images…
Although Versailles is currently closed, the château is spoiling us with some incredible images of the grounds, rooms dripping with gold leaf, secret areas you wouldn’t usually see, exquisite objects from their collections…
All that will be available to you again before long…
For example, you might like to subscribe to the chateau’s YouTube channel, which has interesting little films, professionally filmed, often with English subtitles.
The chateau’s Twitter feed also has a lot of info and interesting pictures…

The chateau’s Facebook page is also worth looking at…
And of course, the chateau’s Instagram page is regularly updated with great photos and interesting facts.
Of course we shouldn’t forget that the chateau’s website is also a great place for information about the different areas you can visit, the exhibitions on offer, most recent acquisitions and restorations, and even some impressive visits in virtual reality…
And if you understand French, then you might be interested in the chateau’s very own magazine! It’s called Les carnets de Versailles, is very well-produced and you can subscribe to receive a paper copy at home (not sure if this works from addresses abroad).
Also, fans of the chateau should take a look at the online store where you can buy honey made on the estate (a bit expensive at 19€), books, scarves, candles, umbrellas and even bags made from recycled plastic! There’s something for everyone 🙂
